Greetings and respect to all members and leaders of Tunisian Scouting on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of this esteemed organization. Scouting is a global movement aimed at youth development and the promotion of values such as honesty, teamwork, cooperation, and community service. It is an organization based on the principles of respect, tolerance, and integrity.
I am proud to share, on this day, my affiliation with Tunisian Scouting for nearly 38 uninterrupted years. My involvement in this pioneering organization has helped me develop my personality and understand the values of teamwork, challenges, and responsibilities. Through serving as a regional, national, and international leader within this esteemed organization, I have learned a great deal.
Over the years I’ve spent in Scouting, I have encountered some of the brightest leaders from Tunisia and around the world. I am immensely grateful for the significant role they have played in shaping my character, enhancing my skills, and instilling values in me. Their contribution has greatly influenced my personal and professional successes, for which I am thankful.
My sincere appreciation goes to all the leaders, mentors, and trainers in Tunisian Scouting for their wonderful efforts in youth development and the promotion of scouting values, cooperation, and solidarity. We also salute the martyrs of the scouting movement who sacrificed their lives in the service of society and the world.
We remember fondly our dear leaders and colleagues who have passed away, and we pray that Allah reunites us with them in the eternal gardens.
We extend the invitation to all parents to enroll their children and actively participate in the scouting organization, benefiting from the unique experience it offers in building and developing individual character, as well as contributing to building a better society and a promising future for our beloved country. Let us be part of this leading global movement in youth development and contribute to serving the community and the world as a whole.
“Scouting is hope for the future because it raises a new generation that believes in God, in their country, and in themselves, and can cooperate, understand, and work with team spirit.”
Therefore, let us celebrate together ninety years of Tunisian Scouting, and let us continue to work diligently and sincerely to enhance its role and importance in youth development and in contributing to the development of our society and our beloved country!
